Experienced pediatric surgeons
We strive to be a trusted resource for families with children in the community who need to undergo surgery.
Types of surgeries we offer
Our surgical team includes board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeons who possess a wide range of expertise. Additionally, being part of a large network allows us to work directly with other pediatric physicians who bring an added level of expertise for procedures that require further specialization.
At our facility, we prioritize using minimally invasive surgical techniques. These laparoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures can provide an array of benefits for your child, including reduced pain, scarring and recovery time. These can also be used for numerous types of surgeries. Above all, we want kids to go back to just being kids as soon as possible.
Surgeries we offer include:

- Cholecystectomy
- Diaphragmatic hernia repair
- Duodenal atresia repair

Surgical and nonsurgical chest wall abnormality correction
Structural chest complications are typically caused by congenital abnormalities in the chest wall. The two most common abnormalities are pectus excavatum, when the chest bone dips inward, otherwise known as "sunken chest," and pectus carinatum, when the chest bone protrudes.
While both types begin at birth, many are not physically noticeable until teenage years and present no other symptoms. For treatment, nonsurgical means are always emphasized as the primary course of action before thinking about surgery. While more severe cases of pectus excavatum may require surgery, pectus carinatum is most often treated with bracing.
With bracing, your child will be fitted with a brace fully unique to their anatomy before wearing it 24/7 (under clothing) for anywhere between six months and year. During this time, the brace gently guides their back's structures into place, without trauma or significant pain. Bracing often begins around ages of 10 to 15 and works well just before a growth spurt.
