Our pain management treatments
Through the pain management solutions we offer, our innovative teams may be able to bring you comfort when medication and physical therapy are ineffective. We thoughtfully approach your condition by developing a personalized care plan. Providing support with this level of detail aims to give you the best possible outcome for your intended lifestyle.
Neuromodulation
Neuromodulation therapy, also called neurostimulation, alters the nervous system to hopefully decrease previously untreatable pain. This process is most commonly done by placing electrodes on your spinal cord or peripheral nerves to strategically target a specific area. A neurostimulator — sometimes called a "brain pacemaker" — may be able to help you with:
- Long-lasting pain after surgery
- Obtaining therapy that no longer produces unwanted side effects
- Pain lasting longer than six months
Percutaneous pelvic stabilization
If you have bone cancer or are undergoing radiation therapy for another form of cancer, weakened pelvic muscles can cause your bones to deteriorate gradually. We use percutaneous pelvic stabilization, a minimally invasive treatment option, to provide greater mobility and minimize pain due to diseased or exposed bone.
Spinal surgeries
For spinal injuries or disorders that don't respond to other treatments, surgery is required to help you function properly and manage your pain. Our skilled surgeons know a wide range of procedures that give you the level of spine care you need, which include decompression, kyphoplasty and minimally invasive spinal surgeries.
Surgical joint care
Chronic joint pain, which typically results from arthritis over time. It can disrupt your life and cause significant discomfort in your spine, shoulders, hands, hips or knees. Before your joints become more severely deformed, our doctors deliver joint care by performing surgical procedures to address your ongoing symptoms, including swelling, aches and pains and lack of mobility.
