Laser treatment for vaginal rejuvenation
You might be experiencing vaginal atrophy if you have vaginal dryness that's causing chronic pain or discomfort during sexual intimacy. The condition occurs when the lining of your vagina becomes thinner due to lower levels of estrogen caused by menopause. It is also known as atrophic vaginitis and genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM).
We address vaginal atrophy with carbon dioxide fractional laser therapy, a noninvasive treatment developed to replenish moisture by healing the tissue that lines your vagina. We complete the procedure at our office over a period of six weeks, and our specialists apply the painless laser therapy across three separate treatments.
Hormone pellet therapy
The aging process causes a natural decrease in hormone production, and some women wind up with a hormone imbalance as a result. Certain issues, including struggles with energy levels, mood, sleep, weight loss, mental clarity and libido, might indicate that your hormones are out of balance. Hormone therapy in the form of a pellet offers a potential solution.
Our specialists start the process by testing your hormone levels, which is crucial for giving us the information we need to accurately prescribe the appropriate hormone pellet. From there, we'll insert the pellet in your upper buttocks under the skin during an outpatient, in-office procedure. Once the pellet is in place, it releases the hormone to restore your hormonal balance. Although we usually replace the pellet several times per year, the exact number depends on your unique needs.

Menopause is a natural part of your life, yet is often misunderstood. We pride ourselves on effectively answering common questions and being there to guide you through it.
