You might be experiencing vaginal atrophy if you have vaginal dryness that's causing chronic pain or discomfort during sexual intimacy. The condition occurs when the lining of your vagina becomes thinner due to lower levels of estrogen caused by menopause. It is also known as atrophic vaginitis and genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM).

We address vaginal atrophy with carbon dioxide fractional laser therapy, a noninvasive treatment developed to replenish moisture by healing the tissue that lines your vagina.
