Aurora woman shares heart health journey

Sandra Kelly was referred to Dr. Jason Shofnos, a cardiovascular surgeon at HCA HealthONE, who performed open-heart surgery on Dec. 4. He removed the scar tissue, replaced her valve and secured her pacemaker’s leads.
